Following his plastic surgery residency at Weill Cornell and Columbia University Medical Centers of New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Dr. Weinstein elected to pursue an aesthetic surgery fellowship at Emory Aesthetic Center, dedicated exclusively to cosmetic surgery of the breast, body, and face. Throughout his training, Dr. Weinstein was mentored by world-renowned plastic surgeons, including Dr. David Hidalgo, with whom Dr. Weinstein was in practice for many years prior to opening his Fifth Avenue office.

Beyond his credentials as a diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Weinstein is a recognized leader in patient safety. As a breast and body plastic surgeon in NYC, he recently published a textbook chapter entitled “Safety in Body Contouring” and is a member of the Patient Safety Committee for The Aesthetic Society. As Clinical Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery at Weill Cornell Medicine, Dr. Weinstein leads a monthly academic conference on techniques in aesthetic surgery for the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at New York-Presbyterian Hospital.
